EcoVero Fabric

This is our favourite fabric, made of viscose/elastane this fabric is breathable, smooth, and softer than cotton. It is both smart and comfortable.

Choose your own fabric

There are more fabric choices than we can list, and everyone has different preferences, so we offer choose your own fabric. If you choose something that is in stock at Spotlight Christchurch we can shop for the fabric after you pay us, otherwise you will need to buy the fabric yourself and arrange for it to be sent to us or dropped off at the Learning Needs Library (by arrangement only – contact us first). Choose your own fabric tops cost $30 plus the cost of the fabric.

EcoVero fabric – more options like those listed above.

Cotton elastane – this fabric is very similar to the EcoVero fabric. It’s not quite as soft but is still very comfortable and is a little lighter than the EcoVero Fabric, with fun patterns.

Cotton – 100% cotton is what most T-shirts you buy are made of. It is lighter than the other fabrics but not as soft. Please note this fabric is more expensive for most adult sizes due to being sold in a narrower roll.

Other fabrics – when looking for other fabrics look for ones listed as ‘jersey’ fabrics. Despite the name these fabrics aren’t used for making jerseys but are the kind of fabrics that the right thickness for making these tops. If you’re new to choosing fabric or not sure if what you’ve found is suitable please get in contact before buying so we can confirm and tell you how much to buy.
