Who we are
Hi everyone! We are Milly, Lottie, and Pinky and with our human Michelle we are the team at Milly’s Sensory Clothing!
Milly is the CEO (Chief Executive Officer), she oversees everything, gives us direction and looks after her team members. She is a large bear and comes from England. She loves caring for people and bears and making them happy!
Lottie is a Love-a-Lot Care Bear and is our administrator, with her smaller paws she’s good at typing and will often be found helping Milly respond to emails. When she’s not working she loves spending time with her Care Bear friends.
Pinky is a Cheer Bear Care Bear and is our CCO or Chief Cuddling Officer. His job is to look after our human and make sure she is happy and can do her best work for the business.
Michelle is our human, she does the sewing as it’s very hard for us bears to do with our paws. When she’s not sewing she likes going for adventures.
Our story
For many people with sensory sensitivities that come with conditions like Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder and others, it can be really hard to find clothing that is tolerable, let alone comfortable. The feeling of scratchy seams, tags, and rough fabrics can contribute to sensory overload and meltdowns, limiting what a person can do in their life. Some people find they can wear clothing inside out at home, but struggle to find anything comfortable and presentable to wear out of the home, when they need it most.
We designed these garments for Michelle who was having this problem. Once she started wearing her new tops she found they made a big difference in her life. She felt more comfortable and confident, able to live life more fully. We bears were very happy to see her feeling much calmer and happier in her new clothes. We knew there were others out there that would find them helpful too, so we decided to launch Milly’s Sensory Clothing.

Our vision
Our vision is to make comfortable clothing for people with sensory sensitivities, making it easier for people to live their lives to the full.
We don’t think clothing should hold people back!
